February 5th please join us in welcoming "Not About Us" Praise Band for the 10 AM service!

Starting Ash Wednesday February 22 Good Shepherd will be focusing on the RETHINKCHURCH Journey to Hope series. Pastor Phil will be incorporating the sermon topics in the service and a lenten study facilitated by Pastor Phil will be held for further discussion and involvement on Sundays at 11:15 AM after the services. Stay tuned for more information.

February 22, Ash Wednesday Service at 7 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Yorkville. We will be worshiping together. Please join us at Trinity at the corner of Rt. 47 and Cannonball Trail.

Sunday April 1, Palm Sunday Service 8:30 AM and 10 AM. Communion both services.

Thursday, April 5, Maundy Thursday Worship at 7 PM includes: washing of the feet custom of pre-selected individuals and Communion.

Good Friday, April 6, Worship at Noon at Good Shepherd.

Easter Sunday, April 8, Worship Sunrise Service at 7 AM led by youth followed by a brunch, 8:30 Traditional with Adult Choir, and 10 AM Contemporary with Praise Band. Alleluia, He is Risen Indeed!

We Offer Two Very Different Sunday Worship Styles:

8:30 AM Traditional

This service is formal to business casual. There are no electronic aids to worship. We use Hymnals, organ music and responsive readings. The Adult choir sings frequently during the year. Sermon is delivered from the pulpit. Free Child Care

10:00 AM Contemporary Soul Journey Service

Join us for a casual worship service with our Praise Band. We don't care about what you wear or the type of car you drive. We are together to worship and to learn together on how to be disciples. The mission field is beyond the church walls. Join us in song, prayer and praise. Song Lyrics are projected on the wall and the music features our praise band. Take your children to Sunday School or for those under 3 years old; take them to the nursery to play. Then YOU, come and WORSHIP, with a welcoming church family. "Come, now is the time to Worship..."
