There are lots of wonderful things happening with Good Shepherd Youth!

 

In December, our youth volunteered to ring bells for the Salvation Army.  We also attended a performance of “It’s Wonderful Life- A Live Radio Play” at the Little White School House Museum here in Oswego.

 

In January, we volunteered at the Kendall County Food Pantry and had a great time learning about how the food pantry works and whom it serves. We had such a great time that we’ll be back in March to volunteer again!  Our thanks to Director, Maria Spaeth for inviting us to come and help. At the time of this writing, we are preparing to go on our, January, youth ski retreat in Williams Bay, WI.  We are looking forward to a fun and enriching experience together!

 

 

 

 

 

We are hoping to bring back monthly, youth pizza and movie nights (in the GS youth room).  We cannot, however, host these nights without adult supervisors.  We currently have volunteer supervisors for February, March and April of this year.  We’d like to run this event every month, but we need more volunteers!  Please contact us if you’re interested in supervising a youth movie night – at the church – one month this year.

 

Finally, our February schedule is on the following pages, please take a look and think about getting involved.  GS Youth Group is open to young people in grades six to twelve.  We are also always in need of parent volunteers!
