United Methodist Men

The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces and areas of interest. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a set meeting, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage the process of spiritual growth.  Meets every Friday at 7:00am.  to plan programs and enjoy fellowship. The brotherhood group meets on the third Thursday of each month at noon at a different restaurant for fellowship.

Mens' Lunch Group - Men meet monthly at a restaurant for fellowship, discussion, and lunch.  Watch calendar for dates and locations.

United Methodist Women

The purpose of our United Methodist Women is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. UMW meets the first Tuesday of March, April, September, November and December, for a short business meeting, devotions, and a mission program.  Our meetings offer great fellowship and opportunities to serve. UMW also has four small group circles that meet the 3rd week of each month.

  • Agape Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in member’s homes. They are studying Letters to My Daughter by Mya Angelou.

  • Covenant Circle meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM in member’s homes. They are studying Twelve Ordinary Men (of the Bible) by John MacArthur.

  • Faith Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday at 9 AM in member’s homes. They are studying Twelve Ordinary Men (of the Bible) by John MacArthur.

  • Grace Circle meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the church at 6:30 PM.  They are studying 50 Women Every Christian Should Know:  Learning From Heroines of the Faith by Michelle DeRusha.

Yak N' Yarn

Yak and Yarn is currently on hold for the winter. Check back later for more details. We will be meeting on the third Friday of each month from 6 – 9 PM in fellowship hall.  If 6 PM is too early, come when you can.  If 9PM is too late, leave when you must.  It would be a great evening to complete your work on that craft you haven’t finished.  OR, you could start on a new craft that you’ve always wanted to do.  Just bring yourself, a friend, your craft to work on, and something to munch on.  We usually have coffee, and water—otherwise, BYO.  We have a great time and would love to include you.
